Ham 'n Scram is a family-owned restaurant established in 2010 and it is one of the most reviewed breakfast burrito spots in Orange County. This breakfast burrito spot is so successful that they opened a second location in Long Beach in 2022. They also offer Ham 'n Scram merchandise like hats and shirts. [Parking]: Easy strip mall parking with plenty of spots. [Process]: Many customers ordered ahead of time for pickup as there are no indoor dining tables and this is strictly a takeout spot. I actually just ended up eating my burrito in my car. I walked in, ordered on the spot, and waited about 10-15 minutes since everything is made to order. Customers can also ask the staff for a free sample of their split pea soup. Personally, I thought it tasted just alright. [Menu]: They are known for their signature original breakfast burrito and split pea soup. Due to rising egg prices, there's a posted temporary egg surcharge of 1 egg = $0.50 and 2 eggs = $0.80. *** Original breakfast sandwich (ham, bacon, egg, cheese, hash, onion, bell pepper - $13): The burrito comes with a side of salsa. It was a cheesy ham burrito with no tater tots or potatoes which I actually loved. What really made it stand out was the homemade salsa - super flavorful with a spicy kick and not overly sour. The salsa elevated the burrito to a whole new level. *** While the breakfast burrito is slightly more expensive than other popular spots, you definitely get what you pay for as their burritos are top-notch with killer homemade salsa.

I went to Ham 'n Scram for one reason. To get a ham for my old mother's 85th birthday. I called a few days ahead (as directed) so they had it ready for me when I arrived. I requested the butt because it's generally fattier and more flavorful than the leaner shank end. The gentleman said he would cut it the day I ordered it. As an FYI, I wasn't planning on writing this review until after I tasted that ham, but circumstances forced me to change course. Located on Westminster, west of Springdale in a strip mall, this is a takeout only establishment. It's open at 0700 and closes at 1200. The menu has lots of breakfast options. It also has soup. Soup is one of my favorite foods. They serve three bean and pea soup. Today's soup of the day was ham chowder. This is a tough choice. Because beans are one of my favorite foods, and the man assisting me said it was his favorite, I opted for the three bean soup. The soup is delicious. It's better than my own. The carrots were finally diced. The ham perfectly diced in large cubes. Some tomato, but not very many. The beans were cooked perfectly. The broth was fabulous. There was no fat floating on top nor found in the soup. Sheesh it's good. The Ham is smokes, cooked and trimmed. It needs to be warmed and glazed. It came with the components they use to baste and the complete instructions. This restaurant utilizes a high volume of ham and gets them at a reasonable price. They pass the savings on to their customers. You may get bones or half of a ham at reasonable prices. This is a neighborhood restaurant (owned by the son of an RN I used to work with). I am so happy to finally be a loyal customer.

This place is trully a hidden gem! Been wanting to go to this place after reading all of the good reviews abt this place, and finally got a chance to go the other day...all I could say, what took me so long??!!! I got the original breakfast burrito for $12 + tax. The size is good enough,it was pack with goodness, and fill u up for sure! They give you a good amount of ham, bacon, hashbrown, etc..And yes, u put some of the salsa on it.. Bam!! It will take you to another level.. LOL.. It gives you a kick of the right spicyness and the flavor just comes out more. The place is small, but the service is fast and friendly customer service. This breakfast burrito is what I've been looking for, not greasy... But clean and yet still moist. Maybe I would hv like the hashbrown a bit on the crispier side... but it is still good! And I saw a post on the wall, on September 2024 (this year) it's their anniversary of 14 years!! Congratulations... wishing them much more success in the next year and more...

Breakfast burrito came with eggs, ham, cheese, and hash bits. A bit salty due to the ham but good overall. Tiny shop with plentiful parking. High energy positive environment with photos of happy employees. Service was excellent as the cashier/server walked us through the whole menu. Cute sticker on wrapper.

Had an early start to my day and decided to stop for breakfast, I am very pleased with my decision to try Ham 'n Scram. The original breakfast burrito is simple but so well done. Full of flavor and a wonderful portion ratio of food to tortilla definitely made the difference. The salsa was also a big factor of overall enjoyment of the burrito as it added even more flavor and a nice amount of spice for a morning bite. I noticed that many people ordered ahead and came to pick up which is something i think i may do in the future, but my morning wait was met with amazing and kind service that made the small wait well worth it. It's a grab and go environment which i think works well to accommodate the many workers coming to grab a great breakfast to help motivate through the mornings. Can't wait to revisit!

I'm not a breakfast burrito person, but when my husband told me he had heard super good things about Ham 'n Scram and wanted to try, I couldn't object. It's a small grab n go breakfast spot in Westminster with truly the friendliest staff. The wife of the owner was so kind and made our ordering experience so pleasant! She even gave us a sample of their split pea soup, which was bomb. The burrito itself was hearty and the tortilla was grilled to perfection. I am not huge ham person, but my husband is and he loved the burrito. We loved that it came with salsa as well. Overall, a super solid breakfast burrito spot in OC.
